This policy explains what data BioIntake collects, how we collect it, how we use it, and who we share it with.

We use your data only to provide the app: estimate the nutrition of your meals, track your intake and goals, personalize your daily targets, and give coaching. We do not sell your personal data, and we do not use your Apple Health data for advertising or share it with third parties for marketing.

3. Third-party AI service

To estimate the nutrition of a meal, the meal photo you choose to analyze is sent over a secure connection to our server and then to our AI provider, Anthropic (Claude), which returns the nutrition estimate. We ask for your permission in the app before sending a photo for analysis. Anthropic processes the image only to generate the response and, under its API terms, does not use it to train its models. We require that any third party we share data with provides protections equal to those described here.

4. Payments

Subscriptions are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play). We do not receive or store your payment card details.

5. Data storage & deletion

Your account and logs are stored securely (Google Firebase). You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from within the app: open the Me tab → Delete my account. This permanently removes your account.

6. Children

BioIntake is not directed to children under 13.
